Looks fitting as it sits on the tracks near the restored M-K-T depot. It was built in 1929 by Texas & Pacific shops in Marshall, TX. It carried a range of numbers over time - #13099, 2535, 2318 & 2220 and an example of nearly 500 cabooses that were rebuilt in the MoPac shops here in Sedalia, MO. |

Another caboose on the M-K-T depot property is this Missouri Pacific caboose #13757 built in the MP shops at DeSoto, Missouri but finished at the MP Sedalia Shops in October of 1977. The shot bay window transfer caboose served until retirement in June of 1986. It is still ongoing restoration. |
