Echos From The Past
Title:  Echos From The Past
Description:  I saw this lashup and I just knew I had to catch it. From What I understand 3 SD40s as shown here would have been the normal power for any UP freight. Now, at least in my area, they are becoming rarer all the time. Normally you see only 1 at a time, maybe 2, on a small local or 2-4 on a MOW train.

Description:  A better view to do this ex-CNW unit and the 3rd SD40-2 some justice. This was actually a longer train and I was suprised to NOT see SD70Ms on the head end.
