Description: |
8376 was bought by Northwestern Steel & Wire and was recommissioned in 1976 as NS&W # 76. It was the last steam locomotive to be commissioned for regular freight service in the United States. It operated daily until 1980. It was then obtained by the Amboy Depot where it is on display. |
