Coach 105/106 were one of 42 10-roomette, 6bedroom sleepers built by Pullman Standard and deliverd to the Florida East Coast Railroad in Sept. 1949.

In 2001 coach 106 was acquired by Blue Ridge Scenic Railway to be used as a first-class service. Originally it was powered by 114 volts D.C provided by batteries and a genemotor driven by a 480v, three phase A.C. motor. The genemotor was friven by the rotation of the cars axles.

Built in 1949 by Pullman-Standard in Lot #6809 to Plan #4140B as FEC 10 roomette-6 double bedroom (10RM-6DB) sleeper ORIENTE, 1 of 42 such sleepers built in that Lot. ACL owned 25 of the cars, PRR owned 6, and RF&P owned 4, all with COUNTY names. FEC owned 7 cars, which were sold in 1966 to CN as #2135-#2141, all with RIVER or RIVIERE names; the ORIENTE became CN #2135 GRANDE RIVIERE, which was later sold by VIA to Bangor & Aroostook as BAR #106. Blue Ridge Scenic later acquired the #106 from BAR.
