Coal Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide that includes Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2369, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during March of 1917 and retired in September of 1959 after 42 years of faithful service. Looks to me like it's involved with cleaning up some sort of wreck. Note the Flagman riding atop the B&O boxcar. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
