BRC 180
Belt Railway of Chicago observation 180 at Bedford Park in Chicago, Illinois on June 13, 1965, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Number 180 is my best guess. There was a number painted in yellow at the other end above the BRC logo, I could barely read it, it looked like 180. This car was a 3 Compartment, 2 Drawing Room - Lounge Observation named CENTRAL PLATEAU, built by Pullman, completed on September 23, 1926, Lot 4971, Plan 3959 ( reconfigured to Plan 3959E on April 21, 1931 ), ice air conditioning added May 6, 1936, sold to the BRC July 29, 1954. Please leave a comment in you have any further information about this car. Thanks.
