NS 8102 PRR heritage on 24K
NS 8102 Pennsylvania heritage unit enters onto orignal PRR iron at CP King. The once double track electrified main known as the Trenton cutoff used to run to Harrisburg. Under Conrail, the connecting track was installed so through trains enter into Norristown to connect with the ex-Reading RR Harrisburg main at CP Norris. Only a once a day local uses the old cutoff, where the local is sitting, west of CP King to service the Arcelor Mittal facility in Coatsville.
