Old passenger cars never die, they just go on vacftion. An ex LIRR P54 coach, displaced when Long Island retired all its steam heated equipment in the mid 70s, found a home at Steamtown. This one looks elegant in its new garb and renamed Williams River Inn, a far cry from the battered gray it arrived in. It still rode like the ping pong it was!! |
