| A wooden DM&IR caboose, DMIR C-44, has been recently moved to the former SOO freight house next to the CN rails at Waupaca, WI, as seen on 4 Jun. '15. The caboose was built by predecessor D&IR in 1906 and rebuilt in 1911. The freight house is the 2nd WC/SOO freight house at Waupaca. It was built in early 1949 after the original freight house burned down in Nov. '48. |
