| The north entrance of Grand Central went up a set of escalators to the Pan Am Building. Who would have guessed that 35 years later, the airline would be gone, and the name would belong to a railroad?? The building is still there, now the Met Life Building. How many of us rode those escalators at either end of our day?? |
