SLSF 4-6-2 #1036 - St Louis-San Francisco (Frisco)  Contributor's Pick!       
Nice example of a 1910 Baldwin Pacific with a little streamlining. Note the streamlined pilot and rakish side panels. Specifics - 1015 class, 69" driveres, 160 psi boiler pressure, 26x28" cylinders, engine weight of 212,000 lb, tractive effort of 37,307 lb. Streamlined by the Frisco shops in 1939. The class stayed in service for about 40 years each and were "dismissed from service" between 31 May 1949 and 11 December 1951. Unknown photographer
