| Tyrone. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, on 15 May 1965. Shown here (F to R) are PRR engine #5889 and three other units whose numbers are not recorded. All were built by EMD. #5889 is an EP-22 built in 1950 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. They are pulling a 43-car westbound mail/express train with "Railway Express" N-5 caboose #5010 through the Tyrone Station. |
