On May 27th 2017, the Catskill Mountain Railroad began running their regularly scheduled Summer trains by starting the operation of a new Kingston-based passenger train known as the Catskill Mountain Flyer. On the first day of operation for the Catskill Mountain Railroads new passenger train, the Catskill Mountain Flyer pauses just shy of the Route 209 Crossing on the Hurley Flats just west of Kingston, New York, with the 1,000 horsepower of ex-Green Mountain Railroad ALCo-GE RS-1 #401 on the head-end. |
