CP 8646 leads eastbound intermodal train 198 through Tower CK
Notice the black top to the short hood (presumably to cut down on glare)...most of CP's vast AC4400CW fleet has red there. The unit's unusual appearance is due to a grade crossing accident at Moose Jaw, SK CA in 2014. She was repaired, repainted and released in May 2015. The 2 year, 4 month old coat of red is just as dirty as any of her more standard Golden Beaver sisters. CP has reintroduced that scheme on new repaints starting in late 2017.
