MON F3A #81B - Monon RR  Contributor's Pick!       
Built in May of 1947 by EMD for the Monon RR, it carried the number 81B until being renumbered as 202. From the steam issuing under it, it appears to have a steam generator for the passenger cars it will be picking up in Chicago. Unknown date and photographer.

Tom Beckett General I'd think this was Chicago, judging by the tall buildings in the background, and the C&EI freight house at left. Both roads used Dearborn St station in Chicago, so that juxtaposition would be likely. 2/1/2018 4:43:30 AM
