Photo Caption: "The Horseshoe Curve is a noteworth piece of railroad engineering on the Pennsylvania Railroad along the slopes of Allegrippus Gorge near the summit of the Allegheny Mountains. It may be seen on the left of the train, traveling westward just beyond Altoona, Penna., and with a graceful curve of 1845 ft. nearly 1600 ft. above the sea, presents many magnificent scenic vistas to the traveler.
