| A CN local approaches River St. as it heads southwest via joint MILW/SOO rails at Menasha, WI on 16 Nov. '18. The facility in the background is currently home to Simply Incredible Foods, 198 River St. They purchased the defunct Menasha Municipal Utilities plant in Jun. '14. Train was headed back to Neenah from Hilbert. Looking northeast from a parking lot where a Menasha Wooden Ware Co. warehouse once stood. It was built between 1900 and 1906 according to the Sanborn maps. I do not recall when it was torn down, part of the foundation is still visible. |
