| Built by EMD in August of 1949 for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois as their #1603, the unit moved onto the Missouri Pacific roster as #936 before landing on the L&N roster as 673, shown here in the cost-cutting but morbidly dull basic black paint for freight use.
