Southern Railway dining car 3306 was on the northbound SOUTHERN CRESCENT leaving Birmingham station. The car was built by Budd in late 1949, became Amtrak 2nd 8380 in 1979 and then Amtrak HERITAGE FLEET car 8521. It was offered for sale in Amtrak’s 4 January 2019 equipment auction and went to the Branson Scenic Railroad. |
