Duplexes. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide by an unidentified photographer that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in May of 1947. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5503, a T-1 (4-4-4-4) "Duplex" built in Juniata during November of 1945 and retired in December of 1953 after just eight years of revenue service. Produced and distributed by FJC Products of Newport, Delaware. |
