Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken near Douglasville, Pennsylvania, on 9 November 1958. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8725, a BS-24M road switcher built by Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton in September of 1952, rated at 2,400 horsepower, and retired in October of 1967 after just 15 years of revenue service.
