Unless this engine was upgraded, this is a straight SD 45. The SD 45-2 had a standard radiator grille, only a little longer than the flared radiators of the regular SD 45's. BN and ATSF had 'em, so did EL, so it's possible they actually ran here.

Yes, it's an SD45, upgraded to "Dash-2" standards. Production SD45-2s were longer, with longer, flat radiators with more widely spaced fans.
