| This looks like the little 0-6-0 MILW #1422 was caught sitting in the retired/scrap line at the Bensenville Yard. Built by the Milwaukee Road Shops between 1903-13, this was just one of the over 160 built by the Shops for use in the various yards throughout the line. The original number was changed in 1938 to one in the 1400 series. Original specs - class I5-a, 51" drivers, 19x26" cylinders, 180 psi boiler pressure. This is an R. Donald Ross photo. |
